Intro/About Morgan Arons In the wide net cast by talent search America – the producers, casting directors, talent agencies, etc. --15-year-old Morgan Arons is surely the prize catch. Whether she's singing "A Part of Your World" from "The Little Mermaid," recording a new millennium dance version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" with Jay Siegel and the Tokens, or singing the united state national anthem to a crowd of 14,000 at Madison Square Garden, this pretty teen model, unsigned artist – songwriter and budding actress could be the America kid most talented. Morgan's career is similar to a broadway kid. (She even studies voice with their musical director.) The multi-talented unsigned artist has been entertaining audiences since she was 8 years old. Morgan's credits include performances in renowned musical theater venues; modeling, and starring in commercials. Morgan Arons has won several music talent search contests for singing, resulting in performances at Madison Square Garden, The Creative Coalition Sports Invitational and Young Stars U.S.A. Morgan has been discovered in child super models searches -- including winning the title of Little Miss Hawaiian Tropic. A top voice over talent, Morgan has lent her voice to such name brands as Nabisco, Poland Spring Water, Dunkin Donuts and many more. She has sung advertising jingles for Nickelodeon, Oxford Press and Noize Factory. Now a teenage indie unsigned recording artist and budding hip hop dancer, Morgan's CD is available online. She would like to compete on the american idol singer talent search. Morgan in the Movies: Last Kiss Breaking News! Morgan recently recorded a demo for the theme song of a TV pilot. It's based on her song "Be an Original." Newsflash: Morgan to appear in the new Zach Braff movie! That's right, all you Scrubs television show fans, hunky and adorable Zach is starring with Rachel Bilson of "The O.C." in "The Last Kiss," scheduled for theatrical release this Fall. The film is based on an Italian film entitled "L'Ultimo Bacio." Morgan was filmed on location at the University of Wisconsin at Madison last year. Morgan enjoyed meeting "Summer and "J.D." in person. Zach is "so funny and adorable in Scrubs," says Morgan. Well gurrls, you will be pleased to know that Zach Braff is equally as charming in person. "Zach was so friendly," says Morgan. Hear Morgan's CD 15-year-old Morgan Arons has been compared to hillary duff, Kelly Clarkson, Mandy Moore and vanessa carlton. With a powerful voice and interpretive ability far beyond her years, she is attracting national attention and a large fan base. The CD is available on cd baby and includes Morgan's version of The Lion Sleeps Tonight recorded with Jay Siegel and The Tokens, the artists on the original hit recording. A budding singer-songwriter and member of the Songwriters Guild of America, Morgan has two original songs on the CD: "Be an Original" and Got a Crush on Him." Morgan has this to say about making her CD: I really learned a lot when I recorded my CD -- both about singing as well as the technical part. You go into this soundproof booth with headphones, and the producer/engineer is right outside this big picture window working at the computer and sound console. Occasionally he plays a part on the piano next to him if you need help in finding the right note or to understand how he feels the melody should go. Sometimes it would work better for me with the headphones to have one on my ear and one off. Other times it seemed to work better when they were both on. Strange! I always thought everyone sang together at the same time when you recorded with a group. But that's not how it works. When Jay Siegel and the Tokens came to the studio to record their back-up vocals on my version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," they sang in the booth without me. And then I went in and did my part without them. Afterwards, the producer "laid down" their "tracks" on the computer with my tracks. Making the CD helped me become a better singer. It was like constant practicing. I could see myself getting better over the months it took to make my CD, just because I was working so much, singing for so many hours. Now when I hear a three-minute song on the radio I know that those three minutes could have taken a minimum of three hours, or even three weeks, or more to make! Unsigned songwriter and artist Morgan Arons is a pop culture fan: she loves listening to her favorite artists and livewire music downloads, movies, some TV and sports. Morgan is so into fitness she could be a teen fitness model. This teen water sports-ster loves swimming and water sports year 'round. In Spring, Summer and Fall Morgan is on her school's Girls Varsity Crew Team. There are four women to a boat. Morgan's position is the coxswain. Did you know that the U.S. Women's Olympic Rowing Team won a Silver Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics? Morgan suggests you find more information by looking in Wikipedia. Tip from Morgan: Wikipedia is great for researching those school assignments, too! Morgan admires high school football star Myron Rolle, who is listed #1 in America's top 100 football recruits. Myron heard Morgan sing and enjoyed it so much, he autographed a football and gave it to her! Morgan's favorite way to stay fit and have fun is hip-hop dancing! School and Community One of Morgan's fave subjects is Art History. She especially likes the Italian Renaissance period. Morgan loves to draw and paint. For a time, Morgan was a member of the Diversity Club, which fosters the appreciation of different countries and cultures. She enjoyed it tremendously. Morgan volunteers at her school by giving tours to new applicants, helping to introduce the campus and make them feel at home. She is also very active in adopt an animal and animal abuse organizations. Morgan's favorite college choices are Pepperdine University in California, Rollins College in Florida or Duke University, in North Carolina. Dance Hip Hop Here's a picture of a hip hop dancer -- it's Morgan Arons, working out her new hip hop dance routine for her school dance team. Morgan started the hip hop dance team at her school and co-choreographed a routine for the team to "Lose Control" by Missy Elliot. Morgan loves a good hip hop dance song.
